I didn't know I would enjoy a movie about popes. But it is pretty entertaining, the drama is good, the characters complex enough and the camera work is pretty.

Great ambiance, the 70s and the 90s look really legit. The movie is sad, the relationships and family dynamics are great, you really come to care for them (though there are too many children I sometimes got confused), and it is shown in a scary but not shock-value-only way that I liked. It is a bit slow.
