Well obviously it’s even better than I expected, but what else would you expect from Scorsese?
What really caught me off guard tho is how Joker basically took its whole vibe from this movie. Like, Arthur and Rupert? Same exaggerated laugh, same delusional, psychopathic energy. Both live with their moms, both wanna be comedians in a super cringe way, and both cross the line doing messed-up stuff but somehow they end up as public heroes??
