  i loved this movie, i was reading the lower ratings and a lot of people mentioned that it lacked context and they couldn't connect to the characters and i think thats simply because it’s not made for a western audience. it made complete sense imo and nadine labaki did a great job.
  plus, the different tones were nice, and it had the perfect amount of music numbers, any more and i probably wouldn't have liked it as much.
