American Honey 2016
At the start of the movie, I thought to myself that American honey didn’t find me at the right time, that my 16yo self would have adored it.
But with each scene and dialogue passing, I liked it more more, I loved the rawness and the freedom of the hippie life, the immature and painful yet amazing young love.
The shooting here is so unique, the shaky camera and the amateurish filming had an immersive effect on me, like I was witnessing their day-to-day life and selling magazines with them.
