Priscilla 2023
Sophia Coppola perfectly captured this heartbreaking fantasy. She always beautifully captures the innocence, emotions, and desires of womanhood and for that she’ll always be one of my favorite directors. I left the theatre feeling heartbroken for Priscilla, a girl robbed of her youth and identity while only wanting to be loved.
Also, sorry not sorry, but Jacob Elordi gave a better performance as Elvis than Austin Butler ever did.
