Small Things Like These 2024
from the cinematography, the careful attention to detail, the script, the symbolism, small things like these is a rare example of raw irish culture with the bad bits still intact
however the one flaw from book to movie was the fact it took furlong nearly thirty years to cop on to the fact ned was his father
edit: if you talk about how the plot was boring and are anything but irish your opinion is automatically obsolete to me because you just dont get it!

this movie was good saying otherwise would be a lie
BUT
this movie was a little overhyped in my opinion, it lived up to all expectations apart from the “soul crushing” aspect.
i enjoyed the whole thing, neither character was boring, both were flawed, and watching them grow and change and better themselves and each other was undeniably beautiful.
the cinematography was simple which i mean positively, there was no need for big dramatic shots when all the scenes spoke…
