  I liked everything about this movie. Acting is superb. Dialogues are so natural. Very poetic film. The story about an artist, very dramatic but absolutely not pretentious.

  I liked theatricality. I really enjoyed the performance of Kidman and others. I totally missed political satire (apparently, that was a depiction of evil America. I read about it after watching the movie. It's more dystopia than real country). For me it was such a great exploration of human nature: all good, god-fearing people degrade so fast when are allowed to be bad. Collective sin=no personal resposibility. It was mesmerizing (and bone-chilling) to vitness the process. I did not like the ending though but that's von Trier, so completely expected.
