  A huge emotional step up from Fire island imo (as I watched it yesterday) more touching and heartwarming moments for the character arcs

  It would not surpass the original film in my view (and probably also for the director as he mentioned how he values the original one in the screen talk) but it kinda was given a new purpose, a kind of freshness that makes ppl feel seen, as the two versions’ core…

  Haven’t seen such a well-written, well-acted (by everyone) original film for a long time 
  I’d say Emma stone’s performance in poor things is Oscar worthy, but Sandra Hüller‘s performance here is just way beyond that *chef’s kiss* (Those small changes of the emotions is the hardest part yk)
