one of my all-time favorite films. rewatch this every few years and find myself on the edge of my seat every time. if you’ve ever dealt with perfectionism and the toxic pursuit of being better than everyone else around you, this movie is for you. need to watch for those with experience in music.

nice to see representation but. for the love of god let a queer person play a queer character every once in a while. also what the actual hell never apologize for not “coming out” to everyone and thanks for being palatable to straight people by making simon be “not one of those gays” by stepping on the femme queer character.
