Portrait of a Lady on Fire 2019
i can’t believe it took me this long to watch it. i’m ashamed of myself. can i even say i'm a real yearner???? All that matters now is that i’ve watched it and i can say that wlw is where it’s at. and to all those who came before me i know that you are the ultimate yearners. No matter 2025 or the 1840s yearn till you cannot yearn no more, and then yearn some more.

i’m not sure i get the hype…… everyone saying they cried so much but i did not cry a single tear. wild robot on the other hand had me crying throwing up and screaming. but regardless flow was interesting but kinda slow and i had to ask myself like 20 times what the hell was even happening. I just don’t really know how this won i suppose?!? it’s good but it’s like not the best thing animated film i've ever seen you know.
