Memento 2000
As is the story with most of Nolan's work, Memento gives you 90% of the best movie you've ever seen while the last 10% is some of the most cataclysmic, pants-shittingly bad filmmaking you've ever seen. It's enraging to see such a story structure go to waste right at the end when it has been so mesmerizing for the vast majority of its runtime.
The ending is aggressively, agonizingly lazy. It's one step up from "it was all a dream"…
