Encanto 2021
I laughed I cried I truly enjoyed myself. I’m a huge fan of Stephanie Beatriz so anything she touches for me is gold. The family emotion and complexities of each of the characters made me so happy. Also I am a sucker for musical. I was originally going to give it a 3 1/2 stars because I wish the ending was a little bit more full formed but the music (especially the score) bumped it to a 4. Warning though I am a sucker for a Disney musical so this is right up my alley

It’s beautifully made but at the same time it only distracts you from a certain amount of time that it is gruesome and horrifying and some of these characters are probably the worst that I’ve ever seen, well acted, but horrible people. Also my favorite character dies like halfway through so I care for not
