As much as I really do enjoy the setting, cinematography, and the riddler in this film, I find it hard to give this anything over a three no matter how hard I’d love to. The first half of the movie was great, gritty, and consistent. Commissioner Gordon and Batman’s relationship was interesting, Shut in Bruce was interesting, Catwoman’s motive, mafia exposé riddler, gothic Gotham etc were all exciting and fresh after Christopher Nolan’s Batman seemingly left a long standing shadow…
