  All the showy speed-ramped action in the world means nothing if you don’t care about the characters or their motivations.

  A detailed and rich world completely overshadowed by pointless clunky dialogue and not an ounce of subtext or subtlety. None of the characters get a chance to be interesting or endearing at all.

  There is no levity, no fun, and the action isn’t even interesting, the movie is jarring edited to PG-13 rating by abruptly cutting around any gunfire hits…

  Two super powered best bros battle moustache twirling imperial British colonizers in the 1920’s. It’s a complete banger and totally bananas at every turn. Every action scene had us screaming and cheering at the TV. Some parts of it make absolutely no sense but it’s rule of cool every step of the way and the sets and choreography all looks amazing so it’s easy to look past.
