i wrote a whole page down of thoughts i have about this film but in the end nothing will suffice or compare to the fact that even three weeks out i still think about the last ten minutes and the uncanny feeling i had when watching them. gave me the same kind of feeling the first 40 minutes of drive my car gave me when i watched it for the first time. ryūsuke hanaguchi, the story-teller you are.

i also am a gay person that cares a lot about water pressure, so the first scene really spoke to me. but I’m broke as hell.
the enemies to lovers in the beginning really made the rich guy not likeable at all but to everyone’s surprise he got more likeable after getting kicked in the face. the scene by the beach was the best one. overall an easy, low stakes show i watched during my lunch breaks.
