beautifully shot and structured, every shot of this movie was incredibly meaningful and served the story in some way. in an era of so many movies/shows about black american history/suffering this was very tastefully done and never felt overdone or unnecessary. that being said this movie was devastating and I sobbed at the end…. this the type of movie that you just gotta stare at the wall for awhile afterward. amazing movie 10/10, anybody on here who gave this movie less than 5 stars is mad weird
