this is one of the best fucking documentaries I’ve ever seen in my life. I tried to think up a cute artsy review to write, but the pure power of Paris Is Burning is just beyond my mortal words I can’t describe it you just have to watch it (alone, I’d suggest). Somehow this movie was also like a spiritual revelation to me, ballroom Bible to be honest. Incredibly educational and so so so very important, must watch if you are queer. I will always be thinking of everyone involved in the production of Paris Is Burning truly some of the most beautiful, talented, fierce souls of our time.
