I was so scared the entire time for every animal but ESPECIALLY our feline protagonist...not even a horror movie but very accurate to how stupid a cat is in any situation ever <3 also a gorgeous film that probably killed somebody's laptop to render. your sacrifice will be forever memorialized, Latvia!!

perfect movie in so many ways. amazing family crisis film where the answer to having fucked up parents whose approval you'll never earn is a gentle, persistent, slightly odd and misguided, but ultimately loving hand that keeps throttling you with the message: "hey. maybe it isn't you that's the problem, then."
