Really enjoyable silly rom-com, I had wanted to watch this movie for an extended amount of time and finally got around to doing so by coming across a video commenting on the movie that I wanted to watch. Really enjoyed the comedic parts of the movie, the overall storyline and the way it all came together. I am a sucker for romance and just people getting over their issues, resolving them and ending up happy together so I can not complain, had a good laugh, got inspired, can't ask for much more.
Spent the majority of the movie cringing and feeling bad for a person who had been mistreated by many people around her. Heath Ledger's motives are fucked up so I feel kind of weird to just accept the ending but I'm just a sucker for this type of ending. I was drawn to this movie due to recent memory proving that loss of a loved one brings up complex emotions and feeling responsible for keeping people around in check. I feel like the lack of some clarification in many ways created intimacy and realism of a family that vaguely talks about their issues and need some emotional breakthrough moment in order to discuss things that could perhaps be handled overtime easier. While this movie did not make me cry the end was quite emotional and brought the whole movie together. I do believe that the movie's plot was perhaps restricted by the story in real life and having to cover so many tragic events diminished their value to some extent and did not give me time to understand the meaning of each of the brothers deaths.
