Clearly a personal movie chagrined with a very relatable emotion and as a woman felt like I was watching something I understood since I was maybe 10 years old. Oh fun and simple! Felt like Papertowns / Love, Simon era of coming of age films! Liked Palmer’s subplot cus it felt grounded (w/ classic bowling night & shout from rooftop scene!), liked the acting performances everyone’s comedic timing was good, liked the SIKE moment at the end and the way stuff was shot (the ben running scene and zoom in breakups at the end was great), above all liked that the premise felt real and that ultimately it’s a story about growing up and outgrowing high school versions of ourselves! Awesome
