Flatliners 2017
I may be biased since I've never seen the original but the movie wasn't as bad as everybody is making it seem. Although the movie could've gone in a different direction the ending is pretty good for everything to be solved or for a sequel not to be needed. The best character was the one played by Diego Luna , Rey.

I wish I had seen this in theatres as I believe the experience would've been great, and I'm actually surprised to watch a movie with Ansel Elgort that's not full of cringe moments. Lily James' character "Debbie" and John Ham's "buddy" were characters I enjoyed unlike the ones played by Eiza Gonzalez and Jaime Foxx who were really just there to be in the movie.
Overall review: The scenery and music made the movie easy to add to the films I actually enjoyed this year and i will probably rewatch since i watched it at 2 in the morning
