incredibly stunning technically but im conflicted on the racism part of this. initially thought it was a somewhat well intentioned but still racist film. discussing it in class made me reconsider it through a different lens but im still not sure it still doesnt fail at being an anti-racist film. prob influenced by my hate for john wayne, and i feel like a bigoted pos like him agreeing to lead this movie kinda proves my point
