For a series of high level spies, they sure are bad at being spies, or keeping it in their pants. Also, there was no action, and the plot with the *big twist* seemed quite contrived, the whole thing was explained (poorly) in three minutes. I thought the main guy would be suave but he was actually a big nerd who had no chill--they were all bad at their jobs. I did like Cate Blanchett's outfits though.

Nickel Boys 2024
Too artsy for me. First person POV made me dizzy, and the audio was frustratingly inaudible. I know what the little clips were trying to do but they sometimes felt heavy handed or random. Especially odd scenes were the alligator parts, or when Nana was cutting cake and speaking out loud to no one—I just don’t know if people act like that in real life. I think more of that time and cinematography could’ve been used to flesh out the characters of Elwood and Turner, which I hear is the book did a better job at.
