as a piece of art I think it’s spectacular. Original, creative, and kind of astounding in its novelty at times. You have to respect the commitment to a really unique genre, and Zombie’s ability to capture the essence of backwater southern gothic and downright disturbing horror through the lens of psychedelics
I Have to give this an astounding review because it is…so close to my heart.. I’ve been watching this movie since I was 3 years old. I know it backwards and forwards, line for line. My brain wrinkles are in the shape of The Producers (2005) script. It is one of the most nostalgic movies for me, and yet never gets old.
