Phenomenal. A visceral heart squeeze of a movie with two tremendous performances from Brie Larson and young star Jacob Tremblay. A tragic story that builds you up only to bring you back down as you realize escape is never just physical; sometimes the prisons can stay with us in our hearts and minds as well. The score of this movie is incredible, especially during the truck scene. A one time watch for me personally but so, so good.

After 17 years of hacking and slashing his way across the silver screen into our hearts, Hugh Jackman’s final outing as the adamantium clad author of aggression holds up as well as any superhero classic I’ve ever seen.
