Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind was a very dark and bleak film for me to watch.
Although it is funny at times, it’s bits of absurdity doesn’t really uplift me throughout the despair, which is not a con for the movie, it really captures humanity and the flaws that we humans have in relationships.
