The Book of Clarence 2023
A really good black satire on Christianity and its origins. Jeymes Samuel again does an amazing job of taking inspiration from 70s blaxploitation and put a modern twist to the typical tropes of the genre. Wonderful performances from the supporting cast. They really carried the film!! Jeymes timing and transition between laughter and emotionally tear jerking moments was seamless. Overall great watch!
