completely sacrifices anything resembling a plot in the second half in favour of preaching the most surface level, privileged feminist take possible: had so much potential after the genuinely entertaining sharp satire in the first hour, and then completely undermines anything interesting it had going for it:
-brings attention to capitalism/consumerism's effect on young women like twice at the start and then portrays mattel as this stumbling but ultimately benevolent group of goofy older men
