Sing Sing 2023
Two of the best movies I've seen in the last six months, Sing Sing and Ghostlight, explore the redemptive power of theatre in transforming emotionally stunted men.
Personally, I've always found theatre class exercises - like walking around the room acting like a zombie or oversharing my deepest trauma with a group of strangers - a kind of waking nightmare.
BUT it all looks so good on Colmon Domingo who puts in an unbelievable shift (award worthy performance).
