Super weird and interesting. Very dystopian and disturbing, reminded me of Snowpiercer. I feel like they tried to do too much and could’ve focused on fewer characters/aspects. Some side storylines were just never explored and it left u wondering what the point was.

Princess Mononoke 1997
This movie really brings you into its world and its creativity was really amazing to me. I appreciate that there wasn’t really a “good” or “bad” side in this story, besides maybe Ashitaka, but that’s only because he actually just doesn’t take sides and only seeks to make peace. Take for example Eboshi - she at times seems like a villain, but at other moments she also is clearly a good person. I like the messages of this story, that hate is never the right path and that we shouldn’t view conflicts in a black and white light.

Punch-Drunk Love 2002
It’s a shorter film and honestly it didn’t turn out at all what I expected having seen the trailer. This movie is just constant anxiety, from the hunt for Barry to his familial conflicts. I feel like I understand his sister struggles😅. I wish I could’ve seen more of Phillip Seymour Hoffman’s character and how his conflict with Barry evolved. Overall, the performances were really great in this movie.
