probably one of the most good-looking portrayal of 19th-century japan. that shot of them embracing each other with those sun rays coming from their walls is beautiful.

it may be an odd day to watch his film, but it's not odd to feel the love that it gives. it has perfect timing for when you should laugh and when you should feel love. the laughter brings me to tears, and the love that brings warmth to the heart.

the credits rolled, as we finished watching this film. i literally cried when i explained to my cousins that this was and how it became my favourite movie. to have a feeling or a connection between the film and yourself as a human being. because that what makes movies an art. and they just literally laughed at me, haha. i understand them, atleast i expressed my feeelings towards the film, and hopefully, someday, they'll get what i mean.
