#49 on my Top 250 List! I LOVE the OG Conan. I first watched it when I was way too young (probably 8-9.) There were so many scenes that scared the shit out of me. This was definitely a hard R, which I appreciate the hell out of now that I’m an adult. I couldn’t imagine a sanitized version of this movie. It’s got everything I’m looking for in a fantasy film.

I tried to like this movie, but after already seeing “Ringu,” “Ju-on,” and “Pulse” I feel like I’ve seen it all before. Not a single creepy/scary moment in the whole movie in my opinion. Maybe this movie hit harder in 2003, but in 2025 it’s a yawn fest.
