A cleverly written and funny script with a touch of Cinderella story, Anora really kept me engaged in the first half of this film. Then the film really becomes something else...which I did appreciate but it's ultimately not what I was expecting, or really wanting. The pacing definitely slowed down for a bit too long and I felt like the film kinda lost its momentum for a bit.

One of the finest, and well-executed Rom-Com Malaysian Tamil Film. As previous works of Karthik Shaamalan, this film also will be my favourite and it really admirable. He wrote an engaging screenplay for this interlink plot. And he excels in direction as usual.

It was a well-crafted, gripping and smart film about the difficult work of homicide investigation. It's not a "whodunit" or a murder-mystery. It's twisty and engrossing and in some ways, unresolved, but I found it very satisfying.
And Oscar winning actors, I really love Denzel and the duo with Rami, and later trio with Jared Leto, it was perfect. A conflict of egos and truths, challenging dialogues, an engaging psychological game.

I can see that a lot of people didn't understand…
