It’s what I would expect if someone with ADD wrote a movie. It’s all over the place - most of the characters have zero impact on the plot. A plot, BTW, that has very little to do with “printing people”. To that point, they spend very little time (it’s covered in a montage) actually talking about the life/death/reprint.
