I have GOT to stop watching things like this high.
After enduring one of the most terrifying movie theater experiences I have in my entire life, I sobered up and watched it again at home. Unicorn Wars fits a niche I’ve always enjoyed, crafting an adorable, innocent-looking universe with a corrupt inner core. Gorgeous (grotesque) animation, great voice-acting cast. The allegory that it attempts to spin is absurdly heavy-handed, but still manages to hold some heft - an anti-war movie…
