Conceptually lake mungo should work, a mockumentary mystery horror tackling trauma and grief as secrets are unveiled and dark truths revealed. Unfortunately, when the documentary aspect is dull in presentation with a collection of expository close ups, as well and painfully slow grainy zoom ins as the audio raises, the whole features become a heavy drag.
