Smiling Friends 2020
Smiling Friends is what Adult Swim needed in their animated line-up in a long time.
I’m not familiar with Zach Hadel’s or Micheal Cusak’s previous works online, though, their styles work together and translates to mainstream television extremely well.
There is online-based humor within this show, but I feel like causal viewers would still get a kick out of it’s humor. It’s just because the show itself is extremely absurd, awkward, and random.

If I could, I would give this film three and a half stars.
One, I do really sympathize with Brendan Fraser’s character, Charlie.
The build-up towards the final scene, did make me physically cry. I rarely cry during films.
