Walked out on Christmas Day at 1am as a newfound Lily Rose Depp fan.
The way they structured and shot this made it feel like I was reading a book in a really pleasant way. The abruptness and distance of the scenes really added a lot to the narrative and the identity of the characters on their own. Loved the shadow work and colors, and the setting and costumes were so beautiful.

Really beautiful, love the silence / storytelling with minimal dialogue, it added so much more to the meaning. The slower pacing was very refreshing and made the raw human feelings more digestible. More comical than his past films, including scenes purely for laughs which was refreshing but also so different. Very reminiscent of his older films though, such a good conclusion film. I genuinely really like Mahito and the way his characterizing was done & English dub cast I loved. Very human
