    I’ve seen this countless times, so watched on Blu-Ray with the Craven, Langenkamp, Saxon and cinematographer, Jacques Haitkin, commentary. 

    “One, two, Freddy's coming for you…” As an eighteen year old boy watching this in the cinema, Johnny Depp, in his film debut - and wearing a crop top - made a big impression. Truth be told, I almost certainly didn’t get to “three” that night. 

    A slasher classic. No more, no less.
