“Goodbye Julia” is a kind of social novel of modern Sudan through the lens of two women with different social backgrounds. A drama that ties you in a clear-obscure where every lie and every truth may cause a collapse. The rhythm is what is needed to tell the story when you need to talk about trauma, redemption, familial intimacy, and struggles. Very good movie and stars one.

The African Queen 1951
As an habitant of Lubumbashi, it’s a great feeling to see the multiple references about the city. Chemistry between M. Bogart and Hepburn is great. Time now to read about the making of this classic, as it looking like River Congo is the great actor of the African Queen.
