The Princess Bride 1987
I feel pretty lukewarm about this to be honest, maybe because of the hype? It took me so long to watch it because it didn't look that interesting to me, but there's so many (guys) who grew up with it that just love it so I thought, either it's mostly just great if you grew up with it, or I'm missing something and the movie is a lot better than the trailers and clips. I mean it's horrendous, but in a good way. Unappealing and I don't want to see it again but I'm really glad I did? It shows so many different facetts of mankind and culture and time and the more you pay attention, the more you see. Seems like an endless source of conversation.

Four to Dinner 2022
I judged it 15 minutes in but then it wasn't that. At first thought it would be a very classic type of drama but it wasn't that either. It turned out to be quite modern and smart-ish and sentimental but in a more aware way than movies tend to be. I liked it!
