The Last Tourist 2021
watched this for my geography class, while it is not the best documentary of all time. Some of the reviews on this platform are so idiotic and lack basic understanding of concepts that I have retroactively liked it better then I really had. If you don't like this movie at least have the ability to defend your opinion based on actual merits.

the patience of this movie while covering this gutting subject matter is awe inspiring, the composed and subdued acting and directing of the movie wonderfully contrasts the vibrant life presented at first in Rio and is enhanced by the completely passive role of Eunice in 2014 as she struggles with Alzheimer's.
The storytelling works just as well for uneducated folks like myself who knew nothing about this story and even that the movie is based on real events, mysteries feel natural given the nature of the story and all the truly necessary information is clearly communicated.Translated from by

Pan's Labyrinth 2006
watched it in Spanish class which is definitely not the optimal way of indulging in a film like this one but it was really great!
It is definitely and visibly well made from a filmmaking perspective and the choices in direction are cleverly made. I quite appreciated the ending for it's ambiguity and lack of obvious easy satisfaction which you would expect at first glance, the film was all the better for it.Y tu mama tambien next?
