I'm not exactly sure how I feel about this film. It is not terrible, but I found myself questioning why it was made multiple times. The concept of a serious crime/gritty musical is interesting but definitely was not executed well here.
The music is either simply terrible, or songs with potential that are sung by people who cannot sing. Halfway through, I (a known musical lover) understood the hate for musicals.

once it was established, there were way too many lines basically just restating that the cards were predicting their death. Not even that far apart either.
Also, Grant took an annoyingly long time to believe what was happening, and Haley spent an annoyingly long time talking after coming up with a plan.
Had a great time watching though!
