Sorry to Bother You 2018
Sorry To Bother You is a satire take on capitalism that supposedly criticizes society with comedy. However, it tries too hard to fit different genres(comedy, satire, commentary, criticism, etc..) which leads to clashing ideas and the insertion of flat characters that serve no other purpose than to advance the plot. Put short, it doesn’t bring anything new to the table that any other movie with the same theme does. The director conveys strong messages in a very absurd and obvious way, but the imagery is cliché, and plot holes leave little to no space for deeper meaning and interpretation. Still enjoyable for the wtf factor
