one of my childhood comfort movies. even tho i lacks in a lot of categories for good movies, it still comforts me whenever im watching it. The eery atmosphere that tangles its way through the entire movie feels like these ultra realistic dreams i had as a child, after which i always craved to fall back asleep and dream just a little longer

Beautiful Boy 2018
This movie shows me how important it is to not lose yourself while trying to save someone from their own suffering. My brother, my mother and a lot of my friends suffered/are suffering from drug abuse and as much as I want to help everyone as much as I can, i have to hold myself back bc deep down i know, that not everyone will be able to even accept the help. The only thing we can do is reaching out, ask how they are, invite them over, talk with them, offer them our help, but we can't force our help onto them.
