Longlegs 2024
The way this movie lingers on certain shots—a doorway in the background, a window frame—is masterful. It constantly keeps you on edge, with scenes making you expect a jump scare that never comes, yet still managing to seriously freak you out. I loved that unsettling atmosphere.
While the movie is definitely flawed, it’s the kind of film you can unpack and have really engaging conversations about with family and friends.
Oh, and Nicolas Cage is absolutely fantastic.
