  The Boston accents definitely make some scenes a little iffy acting-wise, and some of the background details don't translate very well from book to film, but this was decent. The last 30 minutes are probably the best part. Sean Penn won the Oscar but I really liked Tim Robbins in this, very good performance.

  Decent. Bad pacing in first half, cringe banter, and requires the knowledge of at least nine other movies but this was alright.

  Wasn't *really* feeling it the first time but wow this movie is close to Lebowski-level quotable. I also hope that this film kicks off some sort of New Wave of Slapstick because the physical comedy in this was fucking gold.
