나의 가장 큰 공포는 항상 자멸이었다. 라파 누이와 대몽골제국처럼, 작은 생태계에 유입된 포식자가 서식하던 초식동물들을 너무 쉽게 잡아먹고 엄청나게 번식한 후 모든 먹이가 사라져 단체로 굶어 죽어버려 아무것도 남지 않게 되는 것처럼.
그렇지만 서래가 살아온 길은 잘못이 없다. 선택할 여지가 없는 멈출 수 없는 기차는 트롤리 문제가 될 수 없다. 현대인으로서 어쩔 수 없이 고생하고 사랑하고 더 이상 살 수 없을 때까지 살다 마침내 품위 있게 죽을 뿐이다.

Best bagelverse movie ever.
In Joy's every possible universe, there is Evelyn.
But in Evelyn's multitude of possibilities, Waymond and Joy are as insignificant as Raccacoonie. And she still chooses to love them.
When everything is insignificant you could be autopiloting in a protocol. And the movie suggests that the protocol is to love. It was one of the most romantic movies camouflaged as a comedy. or sci-fi.
And my joy was to witness my cine-prude girlfriend, that proudly says that doesn't like to watch a romantic movie with a company, grin when Evelyn kissed the Waymond in the IRS building.
