The trilogy had definitely ran its course by this film. The pop culture references and celebrity cameos are starting to get tired and every repeated gag is just a bit less funny when you’ve seen it twice before.
That being said, I’ll never not find Austin Powers as a character silly and charming. Any moment he is on screen is a delight, and I can’t help but smile at all his quips and double entendres.
