"Just because my dreams are different than yours, it doesn’t mean they’re unimportant…"

I had to rewatch Little Women for my seminar paper, and I have to say, it's as warm and lovely as I remembered. It really struck me how well it captured the tension between traditional roles of women in the 19th century and their desire for independence, balancing warmth and realism. The March sisters are so relatable, and their journeys remind us that women's voices, dreams, and ambitions have always mattered <3.

"She has surrendered to a joy known only by the insane. She has lost herself completely and she is finally free. It is horrible and it is beautiful..."

I'm convinced people who dismiss this film for lacking traditional horror elements miss its true nature… It may not be the best in writing terms, that's why i took out a half star, but its ability to instill a feeling of increasing unease without relying on traditional horror techniques is truly impressive.…

I can't really explain it, but this movie makes me hate everything right now, like... don't talk to me. The scene where he threw his ring and then instantly regretting it, oh lord. Very intense, depressing movie—I don't ever want to talk about it again, nor watch it.. made me feel so miserable.
